Centre A

I walked to Centre A (at Hastings & Carrall) to check out the show. They had a Head Tax payers coalition event going on and I saw Karen L (married to Henry T) there. I haven’t seen her since the night of Brice’s opening at the Belkin Satellite Gallery in October, though we’ve almost connected a few times.

I also ran into Hank B there, and chatted with him for a while. I haven’t seen him in ages. I showed him the picture of thisCastle and he appeared to be impressed.

I like having thisCastle. It is easily one of the more impressive things I have happening in my life.

Now that I have a home of my own whose doors I can close behind me, I can open doors inside me. I am far more open than I have ever been before; I am able to welcome the outside now that I have physical walls to protect me from it.

As Anndraya L said when my great friend Rob H told her about thisCastle, "Each woman should have a building of her own."
